Is it safe to have it connected in my bed?

Yes. The cord connects only to the outlet's ground port — the one that leads to the earth — never to the current. No electricity passes through the sheet and it draws no power. And you don't have to take our word for it: the outlet tester in the box confirms it before you sleep on it.

What if my outlet has no ground?

Then don't connect it yet — the plug tester will tell you. An electrician fixes it quickly, and there are also ground rods that connect straight to the earth if you'd rather not depend on your home's wiring. Worth checking before you order.

How does the sheet actually work?

It is woven with cotton and stainless steel. The steel fibers conduct, creating a safe path for the Earth’s energy to travel from the ground port, through the sheet, to your body while you sleep.

Do I have to change my bedding?

No. It goes under your fitted sheet and works with pajamas and your own sheets on top. You keep the bed you already have.
